On selecting his title track "What You Like" produced by fellow Highlight member Junhyung and Kim Tae Joo, Kikwang mentioned, "I met with numerous composers in order to write and compose my own title song but time was moving fast and didn't seem like an easy task to write up in a short period of time. Prior to that, I asked Good Life, and it turned out way better than what I had come up with. Also, I was able to imagine how to perform on stage as soon as I heard this track. There wasn't a song like this before. So I decided to select it as the title since it was close to what I had originally envisioned."

Regarding his solo stage name AJ, Kikwang described, "It has been nine years since I made my debut and this marks my 4th debut experience overall. Because of AJ, I was able to perform as B2ST and Highlight."
Kikwang went on, "AJ stands for Ace Junior. Since I'm not a junior anymore per se, I decided to go with Lee Kikwang for this album. Although AJ plays a crucial part in shaping Lee Kikwang, I wanted to reveal Lee Kikwang as an artist."
Back in 2009, Kikwang made his solo debut with the name AJ. This month, he returned with a new solo album after 8 years.
