The 'Produce 101' byungari trainee is staying busy even after the show. He and fellow trainee Ahn Hyung Seob will be starring in a web drama titled 'Akdong Detectives'. He talked about acting for the first time and said, "Right before I went to 'Produce 101', the label asked me what I thought about acting. Back then, I only wanted to sing and dance, so I didn't think about acting, but now that I look back on it, I think my way of thinking was wrong. I want to do well in singing, dancing, and acting. I think they all help each other. If I learn acting, I can express my emotions better on stage."

On Ahn Hyung Seob, he said, "We're perfectly matched, from the script even down to our ad-libs. It's our first time acting so we're both lacking, but even the director admitted our chemistry was amazing."
He was also asked about if he was scared of the life he was leading at such a young age. He said, "On weekends when I don't have schedules, I always go home. I always hang out with friends, so I'm not afraid of anything. I'm actually really thankful to have set a dream and goal in my life earlier than the rest of my friends. I can have a lot of experiences early on."
On his life goals, he said, "Since wheN I was young, my parents emphasized manners. I think it's more important to become a good person than to become a talented person. I'm always working hard to be thankful and polite to the staff hyungs and noonas that work for me."
