1.
The ultimate K-drama rager
Yook Sung Jae received a lot of love for his role in the hit drama, "Goblin," but he grabbed some arguably unwanted attention for his rage scene in "Who Are You: School 2015." Yook Sung Jae's character, Tae Gwang, is seen playing video games at home, his face scraped and bruised after getting into a fight with the school bully. His father arrives home from work and gets into a heated argument with his son. Tae Gwang storms out of the house and then is seen screaming out of his mind in frustration. Might sound like a normal expression of anger, until you see he's raging while riding a segue, somehow maintaining perfect balance in the middle of a large street filled with cars.

Product placement fail?
The lovely music playing in the background and the chopping sound of fresh produce makes the viewer anticipate the delicious dish Joo Won's character is preparing. He puts the evenly chopped veggies into a pan greased with oil, tosses in some rice and stirs until you see some mouth-watering fried rice. It's nearly ready, but Joo Won reaches into the cupboard for one final ingredient: tuna. But just how much do you need? He opens the cupboard to reveal literally hundreds of tuna cans. This probably goes down as the most unsubtle product placement in K-drama history.
3.
K-drama computer graphics fail
Nam Woo Hyun and Lee Sung Yeol may be of the same idol group, Infinite, but they got super competitive as rivals in the drama, "Hi! School-Love On." With their shared love interest -- played by Kim Se Ron -- watching, the boys play aggressively against each other on the basketball court. But Woo Hyun's character can dribble in a way not even NBA legends like Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant can. Woo Hyun's dribbling is blatantly enhanced by computer graphics. The ball appears to bounce faster than his hand even touches it.
4.
The Ultimate K-drama slap
Preparing kimchi is labor intensive and takes hours. But all the effort and deliciousness disappeared with an epic face slap that quickly went viral. The "kimchi slap" debuted on the morning drama "Everybody, Kimchi!" -- very fitting. Actress Lee Hyo Choon slapped actor Won Ki Joon with a three-month-old batch of kimchi, so you can imagine the strong smell all the fermentation must have given off. Speaking about the legendary scene on the program "Radio Star," Won Ki Joon also mentioned that Lee Hyo Choon had spent extra time soaking the kimchi in the juice so that it would make a good slap, as they had only one take. What a relief that no more was wasted!
5.
Stairway to -- definitely not heaven
It's probably fair to say every K-drama has a scene where lovers get into an argument, one of them tries to storm off but the other grabs them by the arm. The drama "Indomitable Daughters-in-Law" showed how the sudden grab can go awfully wrong, especially if you're standing at the edge of the stairs.
Desperate to get away from actor Park Yoon Jae when he grabs her arm, actress Shin Ae Ra pushes him away a little too aggressively that she trips over a stair. As she's about to fall over, Park Yoon Jae tries to catch her. But instead of preventing the fall, they plunge together down a long flight of stairs. And again, thanks to some "amazing" computer graphics, you can literally see their bodies rumble as they roll all the way down to the bottom.
6.
The Ultimate K-drama reaction
A long-lost child who is belatedly revealed to be one of the protagonist's child is another recurring theme in K-dramas. But in the drama "Maybe Love," actor Park Dong Bin had the most ridiculous reaction to the news. The scene even earned him the nickname "juice man" in Korea.

Can a cause of death be funny?
You likely laughed until your stomach hurt, but this scene in the drama "Dear Heaven" takes the laughter to the extreme. Veteran actress Lee Sook appears as a brain cancer patient. As she's watching the gag program "People Looking for a Laugh," she begins to laugh so hard that it leads to her sudden death. In an appearance on the show "Come to Play," the actress said that she's starred in over 250 productions, but does not remember some because she was killed off so quickly. But the death caused by laughter is one she couldn't forget, as she said it was the most ridiculous of all.
