Upon introductions, Honne took to speaking and greeting the audience with basic phrases in Korean, while also discussing the basis of the duo's name. Honne explained that the origin of the name comes from their deep interest in Japanese culture. 'Honne' is based on the Japanese word which explains a person's true feelings and desires, in contrast to a person's actions and image in public ('tatemae').
During the show, members Andy and James were given Korean names, Young Jin and Jae Min respectively, created by the audience. The duo brought laughter to the show by comparing James' appearance to that of Yoo Hee Yeol and was further asked which Korean musicians they admired, to which they replied, BTS's Rap Monster, DEAN, and Eric Nam.
'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' with Honne will air June 3 at noon KST.
