The already-debuted idol made the big decision to temporarily halt promotions in NU'EST to participate in 'Produce 101' season 2.

On March 8, the 101 trainees made their first public appearance to attend 'M Countdown' recording. This also allowed a bit of time for the trainees to communicate with fans. 

Ren used this opportunity to share his sincere thoughts. On a note to a fan, Ren wrote, 

"Nation's Producer nim ? 

Hello!!! This is Choi Min Ki. I'm a very desperate person who really wants to do well now! I will make producer nim happy by working extremely hard!! Please give me lots of love ? Always be healthy and happy ? I love you ? ?"

NU'EST made their debut in 2012 with 'FACE'. The group is still struggling to get their name known in the competitive idol market even after 5 years since their debut.
