Recently, a gallery show took place where satirical artwork depicting President Park and Choi Soon Sil was displayed. He displayed a nude painting of President Park under the title "Dirty Sleep," it is a parody of Edouard Manet's famous painting "Olympia." The event became controversial and was ultimately sent to the judge and 9 members of Korea Communications Standards Commission for review.

The final ruling gave a 6-month suspension for politician Pyo Chang Won, who took responsibility for the event. Later, Pyo Chang Won shared a letter of apology via Facebook and stated that he wanted to protect the freedom of expression. He also expressed his willingness to accept his penalty.
