The event became controversial and was ultimately sent to the judge and 9 members of Korea Communications Standards Commission for review.

The final ruling gave a 6-month suspension for politician Pyo Chang Won, who took responsibility for the event.�Later, Pyo Chang Won shared a letter of apology via Facebook and stated that he wanted to protect the freedom of expression. He also expressed his willingness to accept his penalty.�
