On this day, Chaewon said, "For my birthday back in 2016, IU sent me a birthday cake as a present! Honestly, I always chose IU as my role model and the reason I really wanted to become a singer was because I saw IU's debut stage of 'Missing Child.'
"I had consistently been active as a fan on her fan cafe and I follow along singing all of her songs and I really liked her. Even now, I admire her so much, so honestly, I still can't believe it that I received a cake from her. It feels like such a dream I really want to meet IU and give her my thanks."
