On November 18, Ye Jung Hwa (28) and Ma Dong Seok (45) shocked the public with their unexpected dating news. However, it seems like Ye Jung Hwa expressed her interest in her current boyfriend, maybe even had a big crush, for quite awhile before they officially became a couple!

The speculations are based on Ye Jung Hwa's past interview with 'International bnt', where she talked about her ideal type. She stated, "I like someone like Ma Dong Seok. He seems like a macho man but I think his real personality is probably very gentle. When I look at a guy, I don't care about their height, and I prefer chubby rather than skinny. My brother is very skinny like a model so I tend to get attracted to a dependable [buff] man."

About her relationship status at the time, Ye Jung Hwa said, "I don't have a boyfriend right now, but I do have someone that I like. Currently, it's a one-way crush. The other person doesn't know at all that I like him. I can't reveal who he is. I'm just liking him alone on the inside without being able to show it."

Ye Jung Hwa and Ma Dong Seok revealed that they are a couple of 3 months, and the interview took place in January of 2016.
