In a recent interview with TV Daily, Se7en talked about his fans who supported him through the difficult times.
Se7en talked about how he was able to make a comeback after his controversy and 5 years of hiatus because of his Korean and international fans who encouraged him and cheered him.
The singer expressed his feelings towards his fans in "I'm Good," one of the songs in his new album. He explained, "I wrote the words while I was in the military...fans sent me letters of encouragement during the service, and it really strengthened me. The words I wrote during that time became the lyrics to the song. I wanted to put my gratitude in the song. It's a present for my fans."
He added, "The fact that they support me, that in itself, I am thankful for. It gives me energy," with a smile on his face. He also mentioned his fans abroad, saying, "They judge me based on music only. We communicate with music on stage, so the relationship between my [international] fans and myself isn't affected by what situation I am in."
