On August 18, rookie boy group MASC held a debut showcase for their upcoming mini album, 'Strange'.
During the showcase, mmber Woosoo spilled the beans on how their group name came to be, stating, "Around the time we were deciding on a team name also happened to be the time the MERS (Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus) outbreak occurred."
He went on to add, "Just like how a mask keeps all kinds of viruses and sicknesses out, we decided to call ourselves MASC so that when people have difficulties in their lives, they can listen to our music and find respite."
MASC's debut mini album 'Strange' is set for August 19!
