A young entrepreneur is under the media spotlight for his charitable business venture!
Lee Ji Woong, a man who founded 'D'LUV' with the aim of building schools and health care facilities in underdeveloped countries like Cambodia, wrote on his Facebook, "I heard stories about underprivileged female students last winter. I saw on the news that [the students] use toilet paper or the soles of their shoes as a substitute for sanitary pads, and I decided to make these pads myself."
Lee further revealed that he has created several prototypes and is in the process of improving the quality of his product and making them as affordable as possible. He even submitted his product for review to the Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA).

Lee determined on his Facebook post, "There were people that whispered that I'm some sort of pervert and I even met a middle-aged man who said he was embarrassed for me but I will keep at this work. Please contact me if you can lend assistance in any way regarding the areas of trade, design, and the production process."
