JTBC's 'Girls Who Can Eat' to change its format after negative response

After the negative response from viewers and fans alike, JTBC has decided to reformat the channel's newest mukbang program, 'Girls Who Can Eat'.

On July 6, 'Girls Who Can Eat' aired its second episode on which 4 finalists moved up to compete for the crown of the 'Mukbang Fairy.' In the end, TWICE's Tzuyu took the first place title, beating out impressive competitors like A Pink's NamjooNine MusesKyung LiSECRET's HyosungRed Velvet's SeulgiOh My Girl's JihoGugudan's Kang Mina, and fellow TWICE member Dahyun.


But because viewers seemed appalled by the overall format of the show, a representative of JTBC told news outlets, "We are currently reformatting the title and the format of the show. It's airing time slot will also change."
