Who Wore It Better: Park So Dam vs. Son Ye Jin

This 'Who Wore It Better' makes for an interesting match mostly thanks to the unconventional piece in question. But before we get to the piece, let me introduce the contenders: For this round, we've got lovely veteran actress Son Ye Jin and rising, talented actress Park So Dam facing off!�

The piece is a wrap-around, waist-high skirt that features the odd composition of a black pin-striped suit jacket and a pleated white skirt which peeks shyly out from underneath. Son Ye Jin wore it for an interview on her new film 'The Truth Beneath' while Park So Dam wore it to a press conference for upcoming drama 'Beautiful Mind.'�

Both actresses add a feminine touch to the skirt, which appears to have taken inspiration from men's formal wear and attempted to fuse masculine with girly. Park So Dam kept it simple with a plain white tee but paired the whole outfit with white heels, going for clean-cut and classy. Son Ye Jin, on the other hand, topped the skirt with a loose-fitting white button-down that is more business professional. To make the outfit feel less stuffy, she decorated it with a pair of silver statement earrings.�

Park So Dam and Son Ye Jin did what they could with this odd piece, and I have to say I much preferred Park So Dam's styling over Son Ye Jin's. Son Ye Jin's outfit just looks messy, mostly because of that loose button-down. Plus I'm not sure if it was intentionally done, but the way Son Ye Jin tied the suit jacket seems hastily done as if she just slipped it on quickly without really looking. But Park So Dam really knew how to play the skirt to its strengths, letting it shine on its own without any unnecessary accessories or other fancy pieces.
