On April 15, Shim Jae Won uploaded a photo on his Instagram of himself with the formerly 9-member Girls' Generation, on the MV set of the group's last comeback as 9, "Mr. Mr."
With the photo followed a long message, which read,
"While I'm drunk (?), I have a lot I want to say, but right now what I want to say is - No matter what anyone says, these are the kiddos I've spent a long time pouring my heart out for. More than anyone else, I wish happiness and health for the future of these kiddos. The reason I've been so careful on social media with them is because they're my first piece, they're like daughters or little sisters, so a my doubtful heart. Which is why I have so few pictures of selcas with all of them. (I used to just upload pictures of feet or hands.) Of the few pictures I have, this one is the last one I took with all of them in my memory. It's just a memory in the past now. As one person who remembers what their real smiles are like, I pray and encourage them lives full of joyful laughter and meaning. Kids! Don't get sick, not in your body nor heart!"
The post has since been deleted from Shim Jae Won's Instagram, but you can see photos of the original post below.
While some fans are simply taking the post as a reminiscent act out of drunkenness, others are wondering if something is up, with BeatBurger, SM Entertainment, or even Girls' Generation.
What do you think of Shim Jae Won's heartfelt post?
