When Woollim Entertainment first became a part of SM Entertainment through a merger with SM C&C back in 2013, a lot of people expressed their disapproval - well, I guess this is good news for you, then!
It has been revealed through an official announcement by SM C&C that the two companies are no longer one as the merger between them have been undone. Woollim Entertainment will physically break off SM C&C to establish its own label once again.

On March 21, SM C&C revealed its decision to separate the video content business and the music content business. This will result in remaining company SM C&C managing the video content production, management, and traveling agency. Woollim Entertainment will be a separate entity primarily dealing with music content, returning to its independent state after two years and eight months. This agency includes artists like INFINITE and Lovelyz.
How do you feel about this new development? Relieved or disappointed or nonchalant?
