When Woollim Entertainment first became a part of SM Entertainment through a merger with SM C&C back in 2013, a lot of people expressed their disapproval - well, I guess this is good news for you, then!
It has been revealed through an official announcement by SM C&C that the two companies are no longer one as the merger between them have been undone. �Woollim Entertainment will physically break off SM C&C to establish its own label once again.

On March 21, SM C&C revealed its decision to separate the video content business and the music content business. �This will result in remaining company SM C&C managing the video content production, management, and traveling agency. �Woollim Entertainment will be a separate entity primarily dealing with music content, returning to its independent state after two years and eight months. �This agency includes artists like INFINITE and Lovelyz.
