Viewers of the trending drama 'Descendant of the Sun' are giving a lot of compliments to SM Entertainment's acting teacher. 

This positive feedback is due to SHINee Onew's amazing performance in the drama. Not only is Onew able to pull off a cute and bright character, but also managed to perfect sorrowful emotions in the dramatic scenes.

On the episode aired on March 10, Onew's character Lee Chi Hoon, who was only seen bright and bubbly, showed a different side of him as a doctor. Following the earthquake, the medical team fell into great panic due to a high number of injured. 

Unfortunately, the patient taken care by Lee Chi Hoon dies in the middle of the treatment. In this scene, Onew is sweating profusely and trying extremely hard to bring the patient back to life. Ultimately, he blames himself for the death and falls into an emotional breakdown. 

Viewers were shocked at Onew's performance in this scene as he was more than perfect. Onew was well-known for his talent in the group SHINee, but he hasn't been known for his hidden talent as an actor.
