The controversies surrounding tvN drama 'Cheese in the Drama' just doesn't seem to be simmering down in the media. Following the issues the production crew had with the writer, the haphazard ending, and a staff member's rant on social media, the drama is stuck in yet another quagmire.
This time, the problem arose from an explanation that a staff member had uploaded onto Kim Go Eun's fan cafe using the actress's ID. Kim Go Eun's agency told OSEN, "They share the same ID, and our youngest staff member uploaded the writing by accident. It's definitely not the official statement by the agency."
Previously, on Kim Go Eun's fan cafe, a post was uploaded which attempted to explain a recent interview that the actress gave, claiming, "The interview wasn't published the way it was conducted and was edited in a slanted way so [that is why] people left hate comments." In said interview, Kim Go Eun had commented on the controversies surrounding 'Cheese in the Trap' with, "It's really regrettable that the drama became messy because the actors themselves became the controversies," which was unilaterally interpreted by the media and the public to be an indirect jab at co-star Park Hae Jin. Further, the poster allegedly wrote, "You are either a huge fan of another actor or you're just adding fuel to the fire as someone paid to write comments." Yes, a job as a part-time comment poster in Korea does exist!
The writing has since been deleted; however, various captures of it is circulating online, creating much buzz, bringing a wave of criticism from the public.
