A Chinese investor may be investing generously in a possible partnership with Cube Entertainment.
It was reported recently that Cube Entertainment's parent company, C&M, had held several meetings with a Chinese investor. The company provided little additional details on the matter.
According to online media firm Money Today, the investment could be worth up to 100 billion KRW (approximately $80.7 million). After stepping up music copyright protections in July of 2015, China's music industry is expected to witness sizable changes.
Agencies such as SM Entertainment and FNC Entertainment have already partnered with Chinese investments, with many more agencies to follow.
What are your thoughts on the rising partnerships between K-pop and the Chinese music industry?
