Girl's Day's Hyeri, who is currently is earning positive attention for her appearance on drama 'Reply 1988,' revealed how she felt about the response of the viewers. This past November 9, Newsen borrowed words from a DreamT Entertainment rep to report on what Hyeri said.
According to the rep, Hyeri said, "It hasn't fully hit me yet because it's only the beginning of the drama. I didn't think it would be like this."
The rep then explained, "Hyeri was afraid that she would get flak [for her acting] but because the response is good, the agency is very happy [with her]."
When Hyeri was initially cast as a lead for 'Reply 1988,' there were doubts about her acting ability which had people worrying and criticizing the decision to cast her. However, she proved everyone wrong in the first and second episodes which aired this past weekend with her natural acting.
