Taeyeon wins 'Hallyu Drama OST Award' at the '2015 Seoul International Drama Awards' + other winners

The '2015 Seoul International Drama Awards' has taken place at Sangam Culture Plaza in Seoul, South Korea on September 10! Some of your favorite celebrities took home awards.

Taeyeon won the 'Hallyu Drama OST Award.' Upon reception, she stated, "There are a lot of people who are more amazing than I am, but I've won an award like this, which makes me embarrassed. I think the song was more radiant because it met a good production. I thank the many viewers who gave a lot of love [to my song]; I would especially like to thank fanclub SONE for giving me strength so that I could sing."

Lee Jun Ki won the award for Actor Award for his drama, 'Joseon Gunman'! He said, "It was an honor to be invited once again to the '2015 Seoul International Drama Awards,' but on top of that, I got the honor of an award, so it is even more of an honor. Because it's an award for a Hallyu drama, I feel a greater responsibility. I think it's a blessing that I was born in this generation and got to be active as an actor. In order to become a more earnest actor, I will do my best. Thank you sincerely, and I hope that you will greatly love Korean dramas."

Hwang Jung Eum took home the Actress Award for 'Kill Me, Heal Me,' saying, "I was grateful even for being in a good production, but it's an honor that I even received an award for it. I thank Director Kim Jin Man for giving me the role of Oh Ri Jin and I thank all of the staff. Ji Sung, you particular worked hard and I really respect you."

Growing Hollywood star, Soo Hyun (Claudia Kim), who is currently in Netflix's 'Marco Polo,' took home the 'New Trend' award. "To tell the truth, Korean viewers would probably be unfamiliar with 'Marco Polo,' but while I was preparing for 'Marco Polo' last year, the writers actually went on a trip to the Silk Road; although it's a Hollywood production, we filmed diligently in order to show Asia's image," she said. "There are about 3 months left in filming season two. I think this award would give me great strength."
