During the joint interview held earlier today at a cafe located in Seoul's Gwanhwamun area, Kim Seul Gi generously complimented Park Bo Young on her seemingly effortless acting ability. In the drama, Park Bo Young's demure character Na Bong Sun is possessed by the spirit of Kim Seul Gi's character Shin Soon Ae, who is much more forward and promiscuous.
Kim Seul Gi credited Park Bo Young with doing most of the work, telling the interviewers, "The effort was mostly from Park Bo Young's end. She studied me a lot [for her role]. Her impression of me was so uncannily similar that it was shocking; I think she plays my part better than I do," and joked, "I'm starting to think what I should do for a living now."
Park Bo Young added her bit by explaining, "Before I began [acting out Kim Seul Gi's role], I watched and studied how Kim Seul Gi acted through her past works. Because we didn't film together, I studied a lot on TV. Kim Seul Gi also expressed my habits and mannerisms through her character. I think I was able to find a middle ground and act it out without any trouble."
