The cast of 'Guest' were interviewed by KBS 2TV's 'Entertainment Relay'. During the interview, the cast were asked to explain the movie, and also were asked to tell a scary story about filming since the film is a fantasy horror. Lee Joon talked about a moth, saying, "It was as big as a bird. Like it was an animal [and not a bug]." Co-star Ryu Seung Ryong joked, "I was scared by him being scared."

During the interview, Lee Joon was also asked about his past comment where he said he could act out a romance line with Kim Soo Mi. The veteran actress is 39 years older than Lee Joon, and he said he was being serious, and said he thought it was possible.
The movie takes themes from the story 'Pied Piper of Hamelin', and will tell the story of a father and son that come to live in a mysterious village right after the Korean War has ended. Lee Joon will play the son.
