Yoo Seung Joon's tearful pleas to return to South Korea and fulfill his military duties have been making headlines lately, but another issue is now marring his public apology.
Following the official end of his second broadcast stream, it seems Yoo Seung Joon wasn't aware that his microphone was still on. Though the video was cut off, the audio remained streaming, and viewers heard the following snippets of conversation, "It's making headlines," "Because of the ad-libs," "They're asking when we're going to have the third broadcast," "Damn it," "Bxxtches," "Hey, this isn't off. The mic isn't off," among other statements that would suggest that he might possibly be less than sincere about his apology.
As previously reported, the singer is asking to be allowed back into Korea and be given the opportunity to carry out his military service - the military service he evaded 13 years ago by giving up his Korean citizenship for a U.S. one. Many are questioning why he's making the request 13 years after the fact.
