Jinusean have been featured in 'High Cut' magazine for a fun, crazy photoshoot and personal interview!
In the photos, you can see the duo in a variety of different looks. In the above photo, Jinu and Sean look emotional as they hold up their 1st album and 2nd album from way back in the day as their 1st album came out 18 years ago and their 2nd album was released 16 years ago. In another photo, they seem to be rocking the Rastafarian look with the dreadlocks and tye-dye shirts. In a third photo, they went for a tough look, and Jinu looks like he's almost biting a dog's ear!
Jinusean talked about how they ended up making their comeback after 11 years.
Jinu said, "After we appeared on 'Infinity Challenge', we found out that a lot of people were glad to see us, and a lot of people wanted us to have a comeback, so we gained courage from that." Sean said, "Jinusean's music was at a halt. We opened that closed door through 'Infinity Challenge' and overcame that threshold, and we had to pave the way for us. We paved the road for Jinusean again."
About their newest single, Sean said, "We're thinking of preparing for a full-length album too." Jinu corrected, "That's just Sean's wishes. Yang Hyun Suk told us 'If you don't get #1 with this, I won't let you release an album.' We have to get #1 on a music chart at least once," he said as he laughed.
The two stayed humble as they talked about how far hip hop had come in Korea.
They said, "What we did was let the people know what hip hop was. Back then and now, there are many artists who are better than us. Now we're just your neighborhood ahjussis who preach about hip hop."
You can see them in the 148th issue of 'High Cut' out of April 16! Check out the other photos below!
