Megan Lee's mother interviewed with Ilgan Sports on March 20 and revealed that she had a hard time. She said, "It was really hard. We won the case, but there were a couple more things that we had to resolve. We had to handle something right after [the suit] so it was hectic. We have to thank those who have been supporting and watching over us all this time."

The Department of Justice judged that Soul Shop Entertainment could not force Megan Lee to promote through broadcasts, movies, or musicals, nor are they allowed to sign contracts in relation to promotions without the singer's consent.
Throughout the case, the Department of Justice continued to favor Megan Lee and concluded, "This is an invasion of personal rights, personal autonomy, and occupational freedom, and we cannot acknowledge such force."
Meanwhile, Soul Shop Entertainment revealed their thoughts on appealing the case, stating that the court did not understand the entertainment industry fully, and expressed their thoughts on even going to the Supreme Court regarding to the matter.
