Lots of fans probably take a good look at Lee Joon's famous chocolate abs and think: "Bam. Pregnant." But this seems to pretty much be the actual case in his new drama 'Heard It Through the Grapevine,' which aired its first episode today!
There's one thing you can be sure about and that's... Lee Joon is definitely unique. Having already shed his idol image in the past with interesting project choices like the raunchy 'An Actor is an Actor (Rough Play)' and psychological thriller 'Gabgdongi,' it doesn't come as too much as a surprise when he plays the bumbling idiot in 'Heard it Through the Grapevine' after he gets his girlfriend pregnant and needs to deal with her family.

As his character will follow the story of a man who becomes a father after a teenage, premarital pregnancy, it interested people in how he was able to portray this when he had no relevant personal experience. This question was answered during the press conference on February 23.
He said, "I sincerely acted out Han In Sang with true, complete sincerity. I am in the midst of acting like that. Something like this had actually happened to a junior of mine. Because I watched over the situation beside him, I believe this might have been proper casting. This is because I saw that side to a person in real life and in detail from right next to him. I remember those parts extremely well. I imagine often that friend's expressions and words and am acting."
