Despite having drawn viewers in with impressive CG effects and a unique storyline, the drama released a teaser for the second episode that left viewers puzzled. Rather than heightening the anticipation for the drama, the footage brought up negative feelings about the development of the drama, according to reports.

Top netizen comments on Nate were filled with unfavorable remarks such as, "Boys Over Flowers Geum Jan Di became a doctor," and "After reading the article, I watched [the teaser] on YouTube. Goo Hye Sun, you definitely need to work harder."

According to the reports, rather than seamlessly fitting into the role for the drama, Goo Hye Sun interrupted the flow of the storyline with her awkward and stiff acting as if she were "forcing on an outfit that didn't fit."

In the drama, Goo Hye Sun takes on the role of Yoo Ri Ta, a passionate, bright, and energetic oncologist who isn't afraid to chase violently after what she is pursuing. Goo Hye Sun previously revealed during the press conference for the drama that she has taken a new approach to her acting by changing up her tone and habits for the role.
