Some roles are tailor-made for you and it appears that is the case for ZE:A's Siwan as he revealed that his role as Jang Gurae on tvN's 'Misaeng' is very similar to his lifestyle as a singer.
During a press conference that was held on October 6 at the Seoul Gangnam-gu Coex Conference Room, Siwan said, "I thought to myself that there were similarities between the character Jang Geurae and the self that went through my training period and singing period." He added, "There were a lot of times I thought I was nonexistent to the point I felt I was not needed as a member of society and could not be welcomed, which is why I was very attached [to the character]. That's why I really wanted to try [this role]."

Siwan continued, "I felt that way even more after debuting than when I was a trainee. Just as employment isn't the end but the beginning, debuting as a singer was just the beginning."
tvN's 'Misaeng' is set to premiere every Friday and Saturday starting on October 17!
