With the new developments in relationships on KBS 2TV's 'What's With This Family', Hyungsik was asked about his own dating experience during an interview with reporters that was held at a restaurant in Yeoido on October 16.
'What's With This Family?' is a weekend drama that follows the daily life of a chaotic family. It also features a love triangle between Hyungsik, Nam Ji Hyun, and Seo Kang Jun, keeping fans at the edge of their seat.

As Hyungsik's character Cha Dal Bong has no dating experience, fans couldn't help but wonder if Hyungsik could relate, especially after Cha Dal Bong disappointed Kang Seo Wool (played by Nam Ji Hyun) by asking if they could be friends after she was shocked by his true identity.
Hyungsik commented, "I can't say that I know women well, but I wouldn't go so far as to say, 'Let's be friends.' I'm not to that extent," in clear disagreement with his character. He continued, "Even so, I wonder if I could date well in a refreshing way that suits the 20s in my own way," sympathizing with his character's inexperience in the end.
