At a press preview event for the movie 'Giant'  held on October 29, he said, "I was on stage with senior actor Yoo Ji Tae at the '17th Busan Film Festival'. He has the most charisma out of all the male actors I've seen. I fell in love with him [at the time]. Then I met him again at the '19th Busan Film Festival'. I thought I was in a dream because I was receiving an award from the senior I was fond of."

The actor continued, "It doesn't hit home because the award is too immense for someone like me. At the time, I happily received it, but now I have to take this as a new starting point and show a better side of me so there is a great pressure. I also received the actor award this year too, so I would definitely have to show a good side. I am very thankful."

The young actor showed his interest in expanding his career, saying, "I am always ready to go overseas." 

The movie 'Giant' is set to premiere on November 13!
