You know what they say about the blind leading the blind, and how that train can lead to no good / very bad things? Then consider what our world would look like if we, the people, took directions from the fashionably challenged.
Luckily, the following celebrity fashionistas, minds abuzz with creative energy, have revealed their own fashion lines. Whether it be through collaborations or solo ventures, or however small or large the part they played in the production process, we see the imprints they left on their designs. The styles fall anywhere along the lines of glamorous, eccentric, girly, chic, and cute, which goes to show just how much of these celebrity designers' personal preferences go into the blueprint of the fashion lines.
CL X Kenzo
2NE1's CL and French fashion house Kenzo teamed up with Hong Kong's premier accessories retailer, 'On Pedder.' 'On Pedder' released a promotional video of the collaboration which includes trippy, bass-heavy visuals with CL's "Mental Breakdown" as the music backdrop. The video is a collaboration between French video artist Laurent Segretier and Korean art director Junu Ahn. The designs of the pieces CL's working in the video are nothing short of fierce and classy.
Yoo Ah In X Nohant
Actor Yoo Ah In worked with the local, up-and-coming clothing brand 'Nohant,' to create T-shirt designs that bring awareness to the global spread of Hangul (Korea's national alphabet). Yoo Ah In, who acted as an aspiring designer in the 2012 TV drama 'Fashion King,' took his own spin on the hangul-themed designs. As you can see from his design above, one consonant from each city's name is replaced with a similar-sounding letter from the Korean alphabet. Clever, simple, and fashionable.
Gong Hyo Jin X Los Angeles Project (LAP)
While Gong Hyo Jin is an impressive actress, she's also made her name as one of Korea's resident style icons. In 2012, Gong Hyo Jin collaborated with contemporary fashion brand 'Los Angeles Project (LAP)' and launched a self-designed line fittingly called, 'LAP by Gong Hyo Jin.' In so doing, the actress revealed designs that have a feminine and funky style. Not only that, the designs are modern and simple, but they somehow leave a loud statement with their bright colors. The quirky looks stand in line with Gong Hyo Jin's charming personality.
Hongki X Skull Hong
F.T. Island's vocalist Hongki has launched the official website for his skull-inspired fashion brand, 'Skull Hong.' The website for his new line displays clothing, nail art, fashion accessories, and jewelry priced at affordable costs. The items all reflect Hongki's style and his love for skulls.
Jaejoong X Moldir
Korean luxury bag brand 'Moldir,' known for its handcrafted leather bags, enjoyed explosive attention for having products designed by Hallyu star Jaejoong. At the beginning of this year, it was reported that his designs have sold 30,000 products in a matter of four months, and is now being sold at the Lotte Duty Free Shopping Center. This is significant because 'Moldir's place at Lotte Duty Free means a small-scale domestic brand is now competing against foreign designer brands. But with a name like Jaejoong behind the designs, are we really surprised?
G-Dragon X AMBUSH
Following the release of his anticipated album 'Coup D'etat' in 2013, G-Dragon teamed up with the husband-and-wife team behind the jewelry label 'AMBUSH' to release both a jewelry and apparel line. The line is characteristic for its exclusively black and gold colors, and also includes all-leather takes on your classic baseball and basketball jerseys. G-Dragon's crest can be seen on each of the pieces - everything from rings to pendants.
Taecyeon X Okcat
If you didn't already know, 2PM's Taecyeon is the CEO of his own 'Okcat' business. He designed the green cat himself and is now selling these 'Okcat'-themed products on the 'Okcat' website. Products range from mugs to T-shirts, and all those little knick-knacks that fall in between.

She revealed in a statement that 'BLANC' has been her dream for a while, and that she found the thought of developing a fashion line with new items and styles to be exciting.
