JTBC's upcoming variety program '99 Meeting' (short for A Man Who Satisfies 99 Women) held a press conference this week. At the event, Shin Dong Yup mentioned one of Korea's iconic female solo artists, Lee Hyori.
He said, "I personally once told Lee Hyori to live like Korea's Madonna . . . However, one day, I saw her turn over a new leaf to become not the Lee Hyori I once knew but an adult, who even became a vegetarian.
As a joke, I had told her to become a person of no equal in Korea, but she really began to think at a higher level of other people's happiness while also living for her own happiness."
'99 Meeting,' of which Shin Dong Yup is the male MC, will begin on February 23!
