It appears that the Korean Communication Standards Commission (KCSC) will be applying restrictions regarding the recent bout of sexy artists.
According to one rep on February 19, the directors in charge of the music shows on the big three terrestrial broadcasting stations KBS, MBC, and SBS were summoned to make statements about the sexy concepts and exposure of the majority of singers these days.
The rep said, "It happened because we received complaints from citizens. We are in the necessary process of deliberating in order to impose sanctions [in relation to the exposed and provocative nature]. It seems that the commission's affiliated sub-committee will soon discuss the appropriate level and then impose restrictions."

Previously, girl groups and female solo artists have been making sexy comebacks one after the other. In January alone, Girl's Day, AoA, Rainbow BLAXX, and Dal Shabet returned with sexy dances and outfits. This trend continued into February with the controversial Stellar comeback as well as solo artists Ga In and Sunmi's comebacks.
Do you think the KCSC is making the appropriate move?
