As 2013 is coming to a close, Google collected data to see which phrases were the most searched for in the country of South Korea throughout this past year. Unsurprisingly, many hit dramas, songs, and celebrities made the list. Check out the categories and the top ten searches in each one below!

In the overall trending search items, Psy's "Gentleman" made the list at number two. Following Psy were athlete Ryu Hyun Jin, drama 'The Sun of My Master,' and actor Park Si Hoo. Another one of Psy's hit songs "Gangnam Style" made the list at number eight, followed by Clara and Crayon Pop!
Everyone loves to go home after a long day and settle down for some nightly bonding time with your television! Which dramas or variety programs made the list of top 2013 searches in the TV category? First was the smash drama hit 'The Sun of My Master,' followed by retro drama 'Reply 1994,' then variety program 'Infinite Challenge.' The next ones in rank were 'Heirs,' 'The Book of the House of Gu,' 'School 2013,' 'Aurora Princess,' 'Good Doctor,' 'Grandpas Over Flowers,' and 'Real Men'!
In the music category, Psy's "Gentleman" unsurprisingly topped the list, considering the song ranked #2 in all trending search items of the year! Following was his other song "Gangnam Style," which had also made the all-inclusive list. Following were "Bounce," "Bar Bar Bar," "Gangbuk Gentleman," "Now," "Spring Spring Spring," "What's Your Name," "Hello," and "Growl."
In the most searched names of 2013, actor Park Si Hoo came in second place due to his scandal and eventual return to work as an actor. Sexy model and actress Clara came into the spotlight this year, ranking in fourth. Following in fifth was the viral group Crayon Pop, who will surely have more fun dances and songs for their fans next year.
