Singer Cho Yong Pil came out in first place in a survey for 'Singers Who Lit Up 2013'!
Specialized research company Gallup Korea said on December 19, "Starting in July, we asked 4,263 men and women in the entire country three times to pick their favorite three singers. In the results, Cho Yong Pil came out in first place with 17.6% of votes."
This year, Cho Yong Pil's "Hello" and "Bounce" had achieved all-kills on the charts while he sold 300,000 copies of his album and even had a tour concert throughout Korea that was consistently sold out.
Meanwhile, Psy, who had been in first place last year with his hit "Gangnam Style," fell to second place with 11.7% of votes. Following were Jang Yoon Jung (8.8%), EXO (8.4%), Girls' Generation (8.3%), IU (8.1%), SISTAR (7.6%), Lee Seung Chul (6.6%), Crayon Pop (6.5%), and G-Dragon/Big Bang (6.4%).
A rep from Gallup Korea said, "Those in their teens chose EXO, people in their twenties chose SISTAR, and people in their thirties and above chose Cho Yong Pil as the best."

In the survey for top 'Songs That Lit Up 2013,' Cho Yong Pil's "Bounce" came in first place with (13.6%). Following were Psy's "Gentleman" (8.3%), Crayon Pop's "Bar Bar Bar" (7.9%), EXO's "Growl" (7.6%), and IU's "The Red Shoes" (5.5%).
