Pledis Entertainment has entered into a joint venture with China's YUEHUA Entertainment to try their hands at the Chinese market.
YUEHUA Entertainment is the agency of various artists including Hangeng, Singaporean singer A Do, and more. YUEHUA Entertainment is also the one and only Chinese entertainment company that had established a branch in Korea.

On November 11, Pledis and YUEHUA Entertainment will have a press interview on their collaboration stratagem, labeled as 'YUEHUA Entertainment X Pledis', at the Beijing Banquet Hall and officially start their business alliance. Pledis's artists Son Dam Bi, After School, and NU'EST as well as YUEHUA's artists plan on participating at this press conference .
Jung Hae Chang, the executive director of Pledis, said, "We have come to hold hands with major Chinese entertainment company YUEHUA Entertainment and are earnestly advancing into the Chinese market. This has happened from time to time with Japan, but this is the first time officially collaborating and advancing with a Chinese music agency. In addition, we have bigger expectations stemming from this collaboration because there is big potential in the Chinese market."
It seems that with this collaboration, Pledis will be able to more firmly influence the music market through this official entry into the Chinese market.
