It was revealed on the November 4 installment of Channel A's 'That Person at that Time' that Clara's father, Lee Seung Kyu, was the leader of an internationally popular musical group called Koreana. The group became particularly well known for performing "Hand In Hand" at the Opening Ceremony of the 1988 Seoul Olympics. On the show, Lee Seung Kyu smiled just from looking at his daughter's picture and shed tears at Clara's letter.

On this day, Clara delivered a touching letter she had written to congratulate her parents on their wedding anniversary. The letter said, "I am really happy that as an adult, I am able to work and give my parents allowances," which caused her father to cry.
Clara had also written, "After being raised overseas, I was hugged by my father for the first time when I was twenty. That is when I first realized a father's embrace is a very warm place to be."
She also praised her father, "While working, I came to realize how large my father's presence.. how great the happiness was to live as Koreana's daughter. Just like how I spread the name Clara through the first baseball pitch, Koreana spread their name through the 1988 Olympics. An honor. Even now, it is truly amazing."
Her father showed that he always felt sorry towards his daughter. She comforted him with, "As it is all in the past, it is okay if you never dwell on it again. Please just think of me from now on as the daughter of whom you could be proud. I really love you, Dad," and shed tears of her own.
They also revealed a picture of her parents when they were younger, showing where Clara's good looks came from. Clara said in an interview with the production crew, "I look a lot like my dad. My nose and mouth are similar to his. However, my eyes look exactly like my mom's."
