Caro Emerald's producer David Schreurs shared that although he notices the similarities in Primary's "I Got C" to the Dutch singer's songs, he believes that the song shouldn't be banned because of its unique elements.

Had a great chat with @amoebamusic @mrPRIMARY and there's a lot of mutual respect. IGotC is a killer track and it shouldn't be banned as..

David Schreurs previously refuted Primary's explanation that "I Got C" sounded similar to Caro Emerald's music because it is of the same retro swing genre and pointed out the similarities between the song and Caro Emerald's "Liquid Lunch," "Paris," and "You Don't Love Me." He also addressed other plagiarism accusations but it seems the two parties have now come to an understanding with no hard feelings.
Primary's agency Amoeba Culture confirmed that they are indeed working things out as they stated, "As we expressed out intention to work to come to an amiable agreement, we are currently in discussion with Caro Emerald's camp about this issue... It is too early to comment on anything related to the matter. As the resolution becomes clearer, we will release another statement."
