4men's Shin Yong Jae grabbed his fourth win after returning to KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Song 2'. The September 8th broadcast featured songs by Choi Sung Soo, an 1980's singer that is well known for his sweet voice.
First up was MBLAQ's G.O, who sang the ballad "Posterity", but Simon D was the one to move onto the next round with his hip hop cover of "Grass Leaf Love".
Next was Ulala Session, who commented, "Today is our last performance. Though Yoon Taec hyung isn't here, we prepared a stage fitting of 'Immortal Song 2'." Ulala Session's Kim Myung Hoon and Park Gwang Sun performed a modern take on Choi Sung Soo's hit "Strangers".
The fourth performer was Cha Ji Yeon, who awed the audience with her flamenco dance in her cover of "Sorrow". However, it Ulala Session who came out with more votes, beating out rock band The Moonshiners as well.
f(x)'s Luna was the one who officially ended Ulala Session's winning streak. Luna pulled off a fresh, cheery musical cover of the song "Traveling Together". She scored 379 points over Ulala Session's 361.
Last up was 4men's Shin Yong Jae who has returned to the program after a hiatus. His emotional performance of "Encounter", which featured a narration break by BeBe Mignon's Haegeum, won the favor of the audience. Choi Sung Soo commented, "I'm really happy that Shin Yong Jae has returned to 'Immortal Song 2'. When I sing 'Encounter', I get a flood of emotions. I was happy as I listened [to your cover]. Thank you."
Shin Yong Jae took the final win with 398 points. He smiled while receiving the trophy and stated, "I think I was able to win because I was lucky and because Haegeum did so well."
