Crown J's former manager, Mr. Seo, was recently sentenced to one year in prison on charges for fraud.
To quickly recap, Crown J's former manager accused Crown J on charges of physical assault. Soon after, Crown J addressed these assault accusations and declared his innocence along with revealing how he was conned by his manager. Crown J received his verdict as innocent on the charges of violence, confinement, and kidnapping, but guilty on the charges of forcing his manager to sign over a yacht. His former manager was later arrested for committing fraud against Crown J by fooling him into co-signing for a loan and using it up all on his own to later slander Crown J for assault.
According to the Uijeungu District Court on the 10th, Crown J's former manager received a one year prison sentence.
The court revealed, "Mr. Seo pled guilty on the account of deliberately and falsely accusing [Crown J], and he did not make any effort to recover any damages and repay the loan adds to his crimes", clearly stating the reason(s) behind the sentence.
In response to this, Crown J's camp revealed, "Mr. Seo is finally getting the lawful punishment he deserves. The 2 year long and tiring battle has finally come to an end. Now Crown J will go to the US with a more relaxed heart to film his MV for his next single."
