Actress Kim Ha Neul recently shared some of her painful experiences from her younger days.
On the September 17th broadcast of SBS's 'Healing Camp', she began by saying, "I was bullied a bit when I was in elementary school and I also experienced it bit of it during junior high."
"I really wanted to become close with the other kids, but when I'd look at them, they would coldly ask, 'What are you staring at?'. When I heard those kind of words, I felt intimidated and I had a hard time just looking at them."
She continued, "I was a poor speaker when I was young, so I became dispirited. I was unable to resolve the misunderstandings with my friends and I ended up just enduring everything."
"One time, I fought with a close friend and everyone sided with her instead of me. I was unable to work out the misunderstanding with her and just ended up suffering through it alone. The junior high school I attended was a coed school, and I ate lunch by myself. I was so embarrassed and lonely. There was never an opportunity for me to become close with the other kids so I just endured it all."
The actress then revealed that she eventually transferred schools, where she met three of her best friends.
