Earlier, we reported that the SBS talk program 'Healing Camp' had gotten into some hot water when the cast members broke etiquette by cheering too loudly at an event for the '2012 London Olympics'.
Afterwards, SBS released a statement apologizing for the actions of the 'Healing Camp' cast. "We believe that the actions taken by the MCs were not appropriate," said a representative for the station. "We conveyed these sentiments to the producer of the program."
"In light of the flow of the program, the scene showing the cast applauding after athlete Jin Jong Oh's performance was broadcast as it was," the representative continued. "After this, we will work hard to prevent this [sort of situation] happening in future broadcasts."
The cast of 'Healing Camp' - Lee Kyung Gyu, Han Hye Jin, and Kim Jae Dong - faced criticism after they were shown cheering in an otherwise quiet stadium once it was confirmed that South Korea would win the gold, an act which some viewers labeled as impolite.
Netizens commented, "They should've followed basic manners," "I blushed watching the broadcast," and "They weren't careful."
Do you feel that the cast was out of line?
