Singer and actor Alex, who previously played the role of a restaurant CEO in the hit drama series 'Pasta', has become a real life pasta restaurant CEO!

In the beginning of June, Alex opened up an Italian restaurant store located in Shinsa-dong, Seoul called 'D'asti Plate'. Alex has a background in the restaurant business and learned cooking professionally while living in Canada before his debut. Thanks to his background, he debuted as one of the few celebrities who has an actual talent in cooking.

He's now achieved a longtime dream of opening his own Italian restaurant and putting his skills to use. All of the dishes served in the restaurant are recipes that Alex has created himself.

Alex's celebrity experience in the world of cuisine includes teaching 'We Got Married' couple Park So Hyun and Kim Won Jun along with starring in cooking shows like 'Korea Cook', 'Mister Table', and 'Food Essay'.

In related news, Alex has been spending busy days pursuing many of his interests, including MCing for MBC Music's 'Be My Singer, Composer King' and also working as a professional car racer.
