After School has finally completed a week's worth of comeback stages and have definitely captivated the audience with their jaw dropping concepts!
Fans and netizens alike have been raving over how each of their comeback stages was like watching a short musical with the depth and quality presented. Their prelude track, "Rip Off", showed the girls utilizing canes and top hats to add a dramatic effect. As they're known for always bringing new elements to the table like their marching drum and tap dance concepts, fans were ecstatic to see live performances of their 'cane dance', which had previously earned a positive response at their first live Japanese tour.
The song itself is also special to fans in that new leader Jungah had penned the lyrics for it herself.
In the following "Flashback" stage, the girls gave the impression of being live goddesses by wearing slim body suits with tassells draping off of it. The tassells and their long, flowing hair created a dramatic effect that definitely commanded the stage when combined with their charisma.
Netizens commented, "My jaws just dropped the entire time", "After School has the most charisma out of any girl group", "Did you see maknae Ga Eun's gaze? She's so powerful, unlike any rookie", "Their song is great! Very After School in style", and "Nobody but After School can pull something off like this."
Despite being busy with their Japanese promotions, the girls were revealed to have rehearsed for 30 straight hours since their return before their comeback stages.
