R.ef (Rave Effect) was one of the best male dance groups of the 90's, and the members made an appearance on a recent episode of KBS2's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'.
It was their first music program appearance in 14 years, but R.ef put on a flawless performance, singing and dancing on stage. They instantly captured the hearts of the audience members, and they have been receiving offers to feature on other variety programs, events, and more. Now, there's plans for a comeback.
The group has received offers from many hit producers such as Joo Young Hoon and they're hard at work producing their comeback album. Their album will be giving a contemporary twist to their style of music and will exude more fierce and masculine energy.
Original member Park Chul Woo who has ceased all promotions since retiring has been known to also be preparing the album with them, and fans who applauded their close bond are eagerly awaiting the album to be released.
A representative from R.ef's agency remarked, "We were really surprised and excited at the explosive response we received after shooting Sketchbook. The members are busy focusing on preparations for their new album, eager as they were when they first debuted. We will be sure to create good music for all the fans who remembered R.ef and have been waiting for them all this time."
