According to the founder of Taewon Entertainment, Jung Tae Won, actor Lee Byung Hun receives the highest acting fee in Korea.

On the January 25th broadcast of Channel A's 'Shocking', Jung Tae Won made a guest appearance and talked about his relationships with famous actors/actresses.  The most interesting part of the show came when Jung Tae Won acknowledged that Lee Byung Hun is the highest paid actor in Korea.

"Among domestic actors/actresses, Lee Byung Hun has the most expensive acting fee.  When I was writing the script for 'IRIS', I was already considering Lee Byung Hun."

Back in the day when 'IRIS' was dominating household televisions, it was reported that Lee Byung Hun was getting paid 25 million KRW (~$22,242 USD) per episode.  Furthermore, there were rumors that the actor received a 1.5 billion KRW(~$1,334,520 USD) bonus from TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System).

Jung Tae Won continued the show with more interesting stories about his career, re-calling the time when he organized concerts in Korea for Michael Jackson.
