Multi-talented idol IU also proved to be a top fashionista.

French heritage sports brand 'Le Coq Sportif' recently revealed the pictorials from a photo shoot with their current endorsement model, IU. For this particular shoot, the singer was free to be creative and put together her own sporty ensembles.

IU sported a fun and bright 'school-look' clothing that went with the 'Le Le Le Begins' theme of the shoot that celebrated the beginning of a new semester. She rocked sporty looks including boxy shirts and tight leggings she enjoys wearing on a regular basis.

Her colorful retro running shoes also caught the attention of everyone on set. The singer who normally enjoys wearing simple and comfortable shoes accented her outfit with an eye-popping pair of running shoes to give the entire look a fresh feel, proving that she knew a thing or two about fashion and style. She then completed the look by slinging on a black backpack.

A representative from Le Coq Sportif remarked, "The shoes that IU selected are extremely colorful, and consumers are now labeling them 'IU's running shoes' and it has become a hot commodity. 60% of the items sold within a month after it went to distribution and we immediately received re-orders. We're definitely seeing the benefits of the 'IU effect'."
