After a four-year hiatus from the Japanese music industry, Se7en has released a new digital single, "Angel". Se7en explained that "Angel" was inspired by his feelings of gratitude, and that he wanted to present something as a gift to those who waited for his return. "These past four years have felt so long for me, but I think it felt even longer for the fans. It'd be wonderful if I could meet with you all more often from now on," he said. He also reported his plans to release a Japanese mini-album in January.  Eager fans are hoping that the album will be released, in time for him to perform song during the Japanese leg of the 'YG Family 15th Anniversary Concert'.
