Singer Kim Jang Hoon guest-featured on SBS Radio PowerFM's Jung Sun Hee's 'A Night Like Tonight' and shared a story about his first love.
"We broke up during a time I wasn't making a lot of money and I was commuting via public transportation. I was on the bus after the breakup and a sad love song came on the radio," he said. "The lyrics sang, 'I said I was still striving for things I've yet to reach. That I would be better off the next time our paths cross'. It was as if they were singing about me, about not being able to stand tall before the woman I loved because I was still a nobody back then. I couldn't stop the tears from flowing."
"My eyes were so swollen and I wanted to get off the bus, but I didn't even have enough money for a transfer."
He provided some comic relief after his heartbreaking story, by revealing that he had an interesting jinx. After he broke up with his first love, she moved overseas and so did every girl he dated after her.
"People told the girls around me to try dating me if they had plans to start a new life in a different country," he joked.
