On September 1, KBS CEO Kim In Kyu met with Kang Ho Dong at a restaurant in Yeouido's CCMM building. After they ate lunch, CEO Kim In Kyu commented, "This meeting was to thank Kang Ho Dong who has been on our variety shows for over four years. He has promised to do his best on 1Night 2Days till February." He continued, "Kang Ho Dong said he prefers public broadcasting over commercial broadcasting and believes he has earned the right to choose which program he wants to be in, along side follow what the viewers want. Kang Ho Dong believes he has optimistically fulfilled all his duties." Kim CEO has advised Kang Ho Dong on his broadcast activities. An official also announced it'll be difficult for Kang Ho Dong to film 1 Night 2 days because of all the pressure till the end of the series.
